There are currently two Professional Student Internship opportunities:

1.) CCTA’s Department of External Affairs team is seeking a paid summer intern focused on community engagement, government affairs, public relations, social media, and event management. We invite college students and recent graduates who are passionate about marketing, public relations, journalism, communications, community engagement, sustainability, transportation, or urban planning to apply. You do not need extensive experience—what truly matters is your willingness to learn, collaborate, and adapt. If you have had any volunteer, extracurricular, or class-based experiences in event planning, social media strategy, or public speaking, you will be in an excellent position to thrive as a CCTA intern.

2.) CCTA’s Planning, Programs, and Policy Division is seeking a paid summer intern to provide assistance to the Programs Department in the Office of Accessibility and Equity. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public-sector transportation planning and policy, with a focus on programs that support accessible transportation for older adults and people with disabilities. This position is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students interested in transportation programs, planning, public policy, public administration, or related fields.
